Margie Scherk, DVM, DABVP (feline practice)

A 1982 graduate of Ontario Veterinary College,Margie opened a cat practice in Vancouver in 1986. Since 2008, she has beenteaching internationally and co-editing the Journal of Feline Medicine andSurgery. She has served in many veterinary organizations including as Presidentof the AAFP in 2007. Her interests include all things feline, in particular, seeingan end to declawing, analgesia, the feline digestive system, renal disease,nutrition, and enabling more positive interactions with cats.
