The Human-Animal-Bond (HAB) presents itself in both the struggle and survival of careers within the veterinary profession.  It is often the critical piece that drives individuals into the profession, yet the reality of the profession challenges the value of the bond and can even promote an unhealthy reliance on that bond. This lecture takes look at how each of us can find that unique path to our authentic sustainable career within the veterinary profession while honoring the HAB.
